MCE acquired previously another fierce competitor, five years ago : MultiMusic. I happen to have run both companies: MultiMusic for almost 10 years and Xtramusic for 2 years.
I have no lessons to give to MCE's execs, but let me say that my companies have always succeeded in the digital music business thanks to creativity, innovation and restless interactivity with the music communities. It is my kind of way to score high while MCE always believed that scale comes first. Scale is not bad, but it is not enough.
